About The Owner

Hello, I'm Cindy Thai, born and raised in Vancouver, Canada.

Growing up, I was always the quiet and shy kid. School never came naturally to me, and I often felt like I was trying to keep up rather than stand out.

After graduating from high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do. Like many people growing up in an Asian household, going to university felt like the expected path, even if I wasn't sure what I wanted to study. After changing directions a few times, I eventually chose Marketing Management.

Now, as I approach my final year and still behind in courses. I've realized something: somewhere along the way, I became burnt out. I spent so much time trying to figure out what career I should have that I forgot to ask myself what kind of life I actually wanted to build.

One question I was constantly asked was, "What's your five-year plan?" The truth is, I never had a perfect answer.

I imagined myself working in corporate or retail because those seemed like the "safe" options. But deep down, I knew they didn't feel like me. I wanted something more creative, something I could genuinely care about and grow alongside.

That's why I started AFTERSATURN.

This brand isn't about having everything figured out. It's for the people who are still becoming who they're meant to be. The ones who feel lost, are changing directions, or are simply trying to build a life that feels true to themselves.
